About Me
I have be working with stereo 3D cameras since 2014 after purchasing my first 3D TV in 2012 and viewing movies and documentaries in 3D, fell in love with the old format. I began by purchasing several 3D cameras and setting off blindly learning on the fly and asking questions from others as needed.
Over the years I've learned various techniques and skills working with 3D. What to do, what not to do and how to make 3D better and more comfortable. I use various cameras, most of them are in side by side format. I have built several dual camera rigs for special use. I find that generally side by side cameras are better for run and gun work as there is a great deal more work involved in setting up dual cameras for over/under rigs. You can get great shots with both formats, provided you know what you're doing. More info on cameras used can be found in the cameras section.
At this time, I am more focused on delivering content to Blu ray in 3D. With TV manufacturers abandoning 3D it doesn't seem to make sense to keep working with 3D. But I know there are a great many people out there that still have 3D equipment and love 3D as much as me. N3D.studio is my production credit/web site. I am not incorporating as this time, I will just operate as sole proprietor for now. Currently, I film/write/produce/edit all of my work, however I am open to working with other professionals too.
Not IMAX or BIG budget
I want to make it clear and be upfront with anyone that purchases my work that I am not affiliated with a major studio or have a large budget and crew to film these projects. I take on projects when I can and mostly do all the work myself. If you're expecting an IMAX presentation or David Attenbourough and won't settle for less, I'm sorry. These films are probably not for you. Please don't purchase and expect these results. I am just one person who loves 3D and good storytelling and wants to share. I do the best I can with what I have to work with (budget, time, equipment and limited crew).
